What is Northlands?

Northlands is a charitable Organisation based in Derry/Londonderry, specialising in the treatment of addiction-related issues.

We offer a range of services designed to support individuals and families from across the whole of Northern Ireland, struggling with substance abuse and alcohol dependence and gambling addiction.

Over the past 50 years, Northlands has evolved from a pioneering grassroots community Organisation into a leading regional Centre for addiction treatment. Our journey has been marked by countless success stories, innovative practices, and a steadfast commitment to helping people reclaim their lives.

What we can provide at Northlands?

Residential Treatment

This involves staying at the center for a period of 6 weeks, receiving intensive therapy and support while focusing on recovery.

Family Support

This can involve individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy to address various aspects of addiction and its impact on personal relationships.

Non-Residential Programs

For those who don’t require residential treatment, outpatient options allow individuals to receive support through counselling, information and advice, while continuing to live at home.

To help maintain sobriety and prevent relapse, we offer a 2-year aftercare service, including ongoing counseling and support groups.
