Northlands exist to reduce and relieve the suffering caused by alcohol and drug-related problems together with addictive behaviours within the community. Our approach is characterised by flexibility, openness, creativity and care of the individual.
We are particularly committed to finding new ways of understanding addictive behaviours and of implementing ever more effective ways of responding to them. We believe that we heal ourselves and grow towards our true potential when treated with dignity and respect.
These values are reflected in our management structure and working practises and we are committed to the professional and personal development of our staff. We also affirm the wider social implications of these values and our resolve to help bring about changes which better express them. These values commit us to a community process of planning, implementation and evaluation.
Our responsibility is to those who invest their trust and support in us and we honour that trust by providing a range of treatment approaches.
